This is the left-hand painting from a triptych entitled, Tension, Timing, Triumph – Monaco 1971.

The paintings were inspired by Formula One legend, Sir Jackie Stewart’s second Grand Prix win at Monaco in 1971 and this particular panel depicts Lady Helen Stewart, keeping her husband’s lap-times.

The triptych, which hangs in Sir Jackie’s private collection, has been published as a limited edition print, which is signed by both Jack Vettriano and Sir Jackie Stewart.
